Over the last few months, we have been delighted to work alongside the marketing team at Barker Associates LLP, a firm of property consultants.
Our first project has been to design a display unit for use at industry events, conferences and exhibitions. We look forward to working on a range of other marketing materials shortly.
Really pleased to mix business with pleasure.
After a 21 year "break" from theatre, I've taken a part in Bishop's Stortford Musical Theatre Company's upcoming production of Jesus Christ Superstar (I'm playing a very camp King Herod – don't ask!).
I was delighted to get the chance to design their marketing materials to support the production and will shortly start work on the show souvenir programme.
I was particularly pleased to see my Last Supper image (thank you Leonardo Da Vinci and Photoshop) appear in the local press as part of the supporting PR campaign.
Have really enjoyed working with Steve at Ecoklean in the creation of new leaflets and business cards to support Ecoklean's small business marketing campaign.
Design and copywriting by Sunflower Marketing 2014.
We are delighted to be working closely with professional voiceover artist Martin West in the re-design of his small business website for Mooncraft Productions.
As well as refreshing the overall look of the site, we are creating a landing page video to showcase his voiceover talents and designing a hard copy CD showreel of his previous work.
Can't wait until the website goes live.
Sunflower is delighted to be supporting Traide, a small business exhibition taking place on February 19th 2014 at Bishop's Stortford college in Hertfordshire.
Showcasing a wide variety of businesses from the local area, all proceeds go to the Inspire Malawi charity.
Come and visit us at stand 29 – pop your business card in our sunflower pot and we'll automatically send you £300 worth of design/ creative vouchers.
To celebrate the launch of our new Presentation service, we are offering a 50% discount on any presentation development and design work (including animated videos) commissioned before the end of January 2014.
Don't miss out. Call now!
After several dozen handshakes, a flurry of business cards, and a serious case of exhibitors feet I have now started the all important follow up after exhibiting at the Hertford and Ware business expo at the end of September.
Compared to the predominately virtual business world I spend most working days in, it felt very refreshing to have a tangible, physical shopfront to work with.
I had the pleasure of meeting many small business owners, swapping experiences, advice and, fingers crossed, a few leads too!
If you are planning to exhibit at an upcoming business event, please give Sunflower a call. I'd be happy to advise on strategy to get the most out of the event as well as any marketing or display materials you may need.
As much as we love helping other companies to make a big impression at trade fairs and exhibitions – we are very excited to be exhibiting ourselves.
Come and meet us at the Hertford and Ware Business Showcase. Thursday 26 September at the Hertford Theatre. Come meet us at stand 39 - If you drop off a business card at the stand, we'll send you some design/ marketing vouchers!
And if you need help preparing for your own stand/ pitch at a trade fair - get in touch!
Making your message sparkle … not death by Powerpoint.
It's another one of those meetings.
The presenter sweating as he delivers another lame joke to break the ice. With his back permanently towards the audience, he rattles off every single word from every single bullet point from every single slide from his oh so tedious Powerpoint show.
And what's this? Oh God preserve us, a tired clipart image slipped in to "bring the presentation to life".
The audience stopped paying attention ten minutes ago. They're thinking about what to have for tea tonight. Which junior exec has the nicest legs? Does the presenter's tie really match his shirt? Anything to relieve the agony of death by powerpoint.
It doesn't have to be this way.
A great presentation is like a great joke, told by a master entertainer.
All killer. No filler. It carries no excess baggage, deftly delivering its message clearly, engagingly and, most of all, memorably.
It tells a story. Seduces the audience. Takes them on a journey.
Sunflower can help you with all aspects of your next presentation.
Structure and Content
Have something to say to your customers but not sure how to say it? We will work closely with you; developing and shaping your presentation ideas, content and structure.
Design, Animation and Video
Avoid the same-old-same-old. Have your presentation created by a professional graphic designer. Every slide designed to deliver the greatest impact.
But why stop there? This IS the 21st century. Sunflower can create videos and animations to really give your presentation a kick in the pants. And if they are hosted on your YouTube account or website, they can be a convenient way to reinforce your message long after the presentation is finished.
The idea of presenting to a group fills many people with dread. Sunflower will work with you, sharpening your delivery, posture, breathing, projection and pace. Developing your awareness and control of audience dynamics.
A presentation is in equal parts a piece of theatre, a business transaction and an intimate relationship.
They can be the most intimate contact you have with your customers and can make or break your next sale.
